At a football physical with his doctor he was asked by the doctor what he wanted to be when he grew up? When he replied "A chiropractor" the doctor became upset.
Dr. Schiffer told him that he was better off becoming a garbage man! Dr. Schiffer strongly disliked chiropractors claiming that they hurt people and do not know what they are doing. He went on to say that the medical profession was keen on putting chiropractors out of business.
Brian walked out of the doctors office telling his Mother that he almost became a chiropractor but Dr. Schiffer changed his mind.
Fortunately for the thousands of Dr. Brian has treated the past 35 years, that wasn't the end of the story.
Dr. Brian McKay graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in 1989.
Prior to becoming a chiropractor Dr. Brian worked at several major Wall Street firms as a trader.
Dr. Brian loves to study so you can be sure that he is always learning new ways to help people feel better fast. An avid learner, he continues to take post-graduate classes many weekends each year. guidelines when meeting w patients
Dr. Brian lives in Darien CT and has been practicing chiropractic for almost 35 years.
His wife Cris works in the office handing the billing. They have 5 children who all attended Darien schools.
The many things he loves about Darien include wonderful well-educated patients.
You can find him exercising at the YMCA or Weed Beach or his office. He enjoys boating and living near the beach. He attends many events in New York City, ask him about his encounter with Oprah Winfrey!
